Significant time and effort was invested by GrassMax in developing the Tuftmatic stitching machinery, together with SMG in Germany, offering the most advanced and flexible stitching technology currently available.
Further R&D was invested in developing PP & PE fibers specifically for stitched hybrid applications.
In less than 3 years GrassMax Systems grew to be market leader in the hybrid stitching technology.

Today GrassMax stitched hybrid systems are used by top teams such as Real Madrid CF, PSG, Arsenal FC, NAC Breda, Heracles Almelo, Go Ahead Eagles, FC Twente and by FA's such as TheFA England, Portuguese FA, Belgian FA. The system has been used for the Qatar World Cup 2022 final between France and Argentina as well as for the African Cup of Nations that took place in December 2025/January 2026.
